The 200 year old Monrozier Estate is situated on the northern edge of the Fleurie Appelation. The vineyard comprises 7 hectares of Fleurie, made in a rather old fashioned way where the wine rests in old barriques and foudres for up to two years before bottling. This matures the wine in a slightly gentler way than the more usual stainless steel vats. This is where the Gamay grape makes its finest wine. A small estate making deep purple wine. Lovley jammy fruit from this Cru Beaujolais, soft, fruity and voluptuous wine.
