Q. How long does delivery take?

Q. Can you deliver on a Saturday?

A. As a general rule we do not have a Saturday delivery service and it is not covered in our standard delivery charges. However, for those special circumstances we can offer delivery service on a Saturday, for a surcharge of £25.00.

Q. Between which times of day do you deliver?

A. Our specialist wine couriers operate deliveries between 9am – 5:30pm. We are unable to specify a specific time as the drivers routes change daily.

Q. Can I request an express delivery?

A. All our wines are already shipped out to our customers express delivery, with most shipments finding their homes before our 7 - 10 day guide time. If you have any concerns or questions on our delivery times, you are invited to call us on our freephone number anytime and we will be happy to provide you with answers and solutions.

Q. What happens if the customer is out?

A. Catchpole & Frogitt offers two services for deliveries:

1) A Signature Service: -

In the event that the recipient is out when our couriers attempt delivery, they post a card through the letterbox to advise you that they’ve attempted delivery on that day, and that they will automatically try to deliver your wine the following working day.

2) An Instruction Service: -

An instruction service is taken the same as a signature for delivery. So in the event that the recipient is out when our courier attempts delivery, the recipient may give an instruction to their wine consultant when ordering, as to where your shipment may be left safely. Please beware of “Leave in front porch”.

Q. Can the wine be delivered to a different address?

A. Absolutely! When placing your order you will be asked both for your details and the address that you wish your wine shipment to be delivered to, if different. This often proves convenient for our customers who are usually out during the day, but have a neighbour or relative close by who can easily accept the wine during the day.

Q. What if any bottles are broken or damaged in transit?

A. If bottles are broken or damaged in transit to the recipient we are fully insured and you can therefore have a full refund for any damaged or broken bottles, as long as you notify us straight away.

Our couriers should not deliver a broken shipment of wine to you, but should this ever happen please refuse delivery and notify Customer Services straight away on 0800 085 6186 and we’ll get a replacement out to you straight away!
