The fruit for this wine was harvested from six-year old vines in the very promising Motueka region of Nelson and has produced a well balanced wine with a rich creamy nose and palate, ripe rounded mouth feel and long finish. Hints of toasted biscuit lead to a palate laden with tastes of banana, peaches and tropical fruits combined with subtle oak integration. Zero contact with oak.

We are very pleased to introduce our new range from New Zealand and are very excited about the prospect of distributing these excellent wines in the UK. Family owned and run vineyard, they have put some substantial investment into their farm and facilities and the results are fantastic.
While known first for exquisite examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the region has a growing reputation for the aromatic varieties - Riesling, Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer as well as its own distinctive take on iconic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The softly rolling Moutere Hills are formed from the weathered gravels of an ancient river system, which originally reached from St Arnaud to the coast. The gravel threaded clay soils are renowned for producing wines of richness and texture. The Pinot Noir is deeply flavoured with fine tannins and elegance. The Chardonnay is complex, multi faceted with excellent structure. Winemakers also produce excellent Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, the latter being granny smith’s apples in a glass!
